Dr. Jas Pahal was born and raised in Prince George, and then moved to Vancouver to earn an undergraduate degree in biology at the University of British Columbia. He returned home to complete a Master of Science in Community Health at the University of Northern British Columbia, and worked in research for two years before beginning his dental education at the University of Manitoba.
After he completed his dental degree, Dr. Pahal practiced in Canada and abroad in Australia for four years until bringing his family home to Prince George in 2014. He’s worked at Family Dental ever since, and also serves as the Continuing Education Coordinator for the Prince George and District Dental Society.
He’s happy to be living in his hometown with his wife, Reena, their son, Jovan, and their daughter, Livia. Dr. Pahal’s hobbies include cooking, reading, travelling, golfing, playing chess, and spending time with his family and friends.
